Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 July 2026

This policy explains how Amtecco BV (Amtecco), registered at Uitbreidingstraat 60, 2600 Antwerp, Belgium, enterprise number 0748.398.550 (VAT BE0748398550), collects, uses and protects personal data in connection with the CDNLive website and the CDNLive early-access programme. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian law.

CDNLive is currently in private early access. There is no public sign-up and no live service. Today this policy covers the website and the early-access contact list. When the service opens, a service-specific notice and a data-processing agreement will be provided before any customer is onboarded.

1. Our roles (controller vs processor)

  • We are the controller for personal data we process about website visitors and early-access contacts in order to run our business — contact, support, security and, with your consent, analytics.
  • We will be a processor for any personal data contained in the live content a future customer delivers through the service. For that content the customer is the controller. CDNLive is a delivery network: it transmits and caches media segments to viewers and does not record or retain the audio-visual payload of a stream as a stored library.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Early-access requests. Your email address, and — if you provide them — your name, company and use case. Email, name and company are encrypted at rest. We store a one-way keyed fingerprint of the submitting IP address for abuse prevention rather than the address itself.
  • Security and anti-abuse data. Technical signals used to distinguish humans from bots (see §9).
  • Analytics data. Only if you consent (see §4).
  • Correspondence. Anything you send us by email.

The early-access form does not collect payment details, service credentials, or video content.

3. Why we process data & our legal bases

  • Consent — to contact you about CDNLive early access, and to set analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the website secure, prevent automated abuse of our forms, and maintain service reliability.
  • Legal obligation and the establishment or defence of legal claims — to meet our accounting, tax and compliance duties.

4. Cookies & analytics

We keep tracking off by default. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you opt in through our consent banner. With your consent we use a third-party web-analytics service to understand how the site is used. The specific service, its purposes and the cookies it sets are identified in the consent banner, where you can review your options. Your choice is stored in a single functional cookie, and you can change or withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. We operate a consent mechanism so that, absent your consent, these services remain disabled.

5. Sharing & recipients

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, by category:

  • cloud hosting and infrastructure;
  • email and communication delivery;
  • security, fraud and abuse prevention;
  • web analytics (only with your consent);
  • payment processing and tax compliance (once the service opens).

We may also disclose data where legally required, or in connection with a corporate transaction. A current list of processors is available on request.

6. International transfers

We host in the EU wherever possible. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate supplementary measures.

7. Retention

We keep early-access records while the programme is active, or until you ask us to remove yours. Accounting and invoicing records are kept for the period Belgian law requires, generally up to ten years. Stream content is not retained.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Contact privacy@amtecco.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption at rest for contact details, encrypted transport, and least-privilege access.

To protect our forms from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and browser characteristics to distinguish humans from bots. This is necessary for the security of the service and rests on our legitimate interest, not on consent; it does not track you across websites. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

10. Children

CDNLive is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CDNLive develops. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and where required we will seek fresh consent.
